Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she turned 16, Alexandra had landed prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. Her critically acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including that of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. This includes the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical mini-series Napoleon among others. In addition, she was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
